Membership

 

Joining the WPDA not only supports your local dressage GMO, but also opens the door to numerous sanctioned schooling shows, clinics, and connections across Western Pennsylvania.

Individual Membership

An Individual Member is a person who has reached the age of twenty-one (21) by January 1 of the current year. He or she has full voting rights.

Junior Membership

A Junior Member is a person who has not reached his or her twentyfirst (21) birthday by January 1 and is without voting rights.

Family Membership

A Family Membership will include only one individual GMO membership to USDF. A family member shall be only one member of the family of an Individual Member. If the family member is over the age of 21, he/she will have full voting rights. However, a family member is not eligible for WPDA year-end awards regardless of age. 


WPDA MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:  

  • Participation in WPDA shows and clinics

  • Educational membership meetings or lectures

  • Group Member Organization (GMO) Membership in the USDF  

  • Eligibility for Year-End Awards (excluding family memberships)

  • Voting and office-holding privileges

  • Social events

  • Annual Banquet

  • WPDA Handbook online

  • WPDA Team Competitions

  • Free classified Ads for WPDA members

GROUP MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS:

  • Subscription to USDF Connection, USDF’s members-only magazine.

  • Eligibility to participate in Rider Award programs

  • Eligibility to earn USDF University credits.
